Aucip Book Calendar Sync

Aucip Book Calendar Sync is an add-on for Aucip Book, the WooCommerce booking plugin. Each staff member connects their own Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook calendar. Busy events in that calendar remove them from the booking slots, and each booking is written to the calendar when it is created, rescheduled or cancelled.

Calendars sync every 5 minutes. To close that gap, every booked slot is re-checked live against the staff member's calendar when the order is placed, with one 4-second budget for the whole cart. If the slot was just taken, the order is refused before payment and the customer picks another time. If Google or Microsoft doesn't answer in time, the synced busy times are used and you get an admin alert.

You use your own Google and Microsoft OAuth apps, so calendar data goes straight between your site and the provider. Customer contact details stay out of the calendar unless you turn them on.

Known limits

• Calendars sync every 5 minutes (no push notifications yet; planned for 1.1).
• Microsoft: only the account's default calendar is checked live at checkout; other calendars are covered by the 5-minute sync.

Requirements

• Requires Aucip Book 1.1.5 or newer
• WordPress 6.6+ (tested up to 7.1), PHP 8.1+ with sodium, WooCommerce
• A Google Cloud OAuth client and/or a Microsoft Entra app registration (free; setup guide included)
• Pretty permalinks; HTTPS on live sites

Licence and prices

One licence = one end product. Free local installs (localhost/.test) plus up to 3 staging installs on staging subdomains per licence; staging doesn't count against your production domain. Staging means staging.*, dev.*, test.*, uat.*, preview.* or a tunnel such as ngrok (tunnel seats expire after 7 days without a verify). Each additional end product needs another licence. Installation is a paid add-on, sold separately.

Support & updates

• Free updates while your licence is valid; 6 months support, renewable.
• A daily signed licence check with aucip.com sends only the key, product, domain, instance id and version. If it fails for 14 days, the add-on's settings and updates lock; syncing, slot blocking, booking pages and .ics feeds keep working.
