Who it is for

Design studios, agencies, photographers and small firms that deliver files to clients and want the files, the links and the download history on their own server.

Features

• Web installer (server check, site and licence, database, owner account) and a command-line installer
• Roles: owner, staff (only the projects they belong to) and client guests (read-only portal for their own projects)
• Projects with nested folders and a per-project accent colour in the client portal
• Chunked, resumable uploads sized to your server's PHP upload limits; an interrupted upload resumes from the missing pieces
• In-browser previews for images, PDF, video (poster frame with ffmpeg, a placeholder without it) and text
• Share links for a whole project, a folder or one file, with expiry, password, download limit and an instant close
• Closed and expired links show a friendly page with an "Email the studio" button
• Download receipts (time, file, link, IP) with CSV export, plus an audit log

Requirements

PHP 8.2+ (bcmath, ctype, curl, fileinfo, intl, mbstring, openssl, pdo, tokenizer, xml, zip, sodium; gd for image previews), MySQL 8 or MariaDB 10.6+, one cron entry. Production vendor/ and built assets are included; no Composer, Node, Redis or SSH needed on the host.

Licences

• Regular licence: use in one end product that end users are not charged for. Free updates while licensed and 6 months of support (renewable).
• Extended licence: use in one end product that end users are charged for (for example a paid SaaS or paid membership). Free updates while licensed and 6 months of support (renewable).

One licence = one end product. Free local installs (localhost/.test) plus up to 3 staging installs on staging subdomains per licence; staging doesn't count against your production domain. Each additional end product needs another licence.

Installation is a paid add-on.

Privacy

Only licence and update checks are sent to aucip.com. No client files, no client data and no telemetry. Update packages are checksum-verified before install.

If the licence can't be verified, admin settings and updates lock after the grace period; projects, files, share links, downloads and the client portal keep working.
